In keeping with the corporate strategy laid out in early 2020 by the CBFA management team, CBFA has completed another investment in a small business. CBFA has looking at opportunities to invest in small businesses that may not survive the current economic climate caused by the pandemic. It is businesses like Bossa Novas that can benefit from the CBFA management experience and shared infrastructure that make for a great fit for CBFA.
In August 2020 CBFA Corporation purchased Spud Dogs a local restaurant in Macon GA. The restaurant underwent a quick transformation and reopened less then 4 weeks later as Bossa Novas. Bossa Novas, is a localy owned and managed international cafe, bakery and restaurant with a Brazilian flare located at 490 Cherry Street in Downtown Macon.
Bossa Novas will be serving coffee, tea, sandwich’s, pastries, sweets, dinners and desserts. Many dishes will be authentic Brazilian dishes with mix of foods from around the world. We will also happy to say that we will have a large vegan selection.
